Harry Warren


Mr. Harry Warren, age 68, of 208 Gentry Road, Roxboro, departed this life Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 in Duke University Hospital.
He was a native of Person County and a member of Prospect Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by two children, Charlene Carrington (Oaye) of Scottsburg, Virginia and Barry Carrington (Debra) of Mustang, Oklahoma; one brother, George Warren Sr. of Roxboro; four grandchildren, Camilla Tucker (Brian) of South Boston, Virginia, Sierra Wilburn of New Mexico, Darren Carrington and DeVon Carrington, both of Mustang; three great-grandchildren: Armond Tucker, Shania Tucker and Gabriel Tucker, all of South Boston; niece, Marschel Harriet Warren of Durham; nephew, George Jay Warren Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; three great-nieces, Destinee` Felton of Baltimore, Maryland, Amber Nelson of Louisiana and Justice Batson of Durham;  two devoted friends, the Rev. Paul Crews and Maggie Warren  and a host of other additional relatives and friends.
The funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m. at Prospect Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Warren officiating and the Rev. George Harris Jr., pastor, providing the eulogy. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home.
