Curtis Malloy Watson, Jr.,

PROSPECT HILL — Curtis Malloy Watson, Jr., of Prospect Hill died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018.  He was born in Person County to the late Curtis Malloy Watson, Sr. and Ida Grace Carver Watson.  Mr. Watson worked for Clayton Homes of Oxford and was of the Baptist faith.  He was a member of the Brotherhood and enjoyed riding bikes with them. Mr. Watson would help anyone he could and always had a smile on his face.

Surviving are two special friends, Dottie and Jerry Wright, of Prospect Hill; three cousins, Lonnie Watson, Carl Watson, and Sonny Watson, of Prospect Hill; two nieces, Makayla and Monica Watson; former wife, Linda Watson; stepdaughter, Amanda McKay; and special group of biker friends from The Brotherhood.

Graveside service will be held 2  p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018 at Cooper Cemetery with Chaplain Steve Jordan and the Rev. Alan Bottoms, Sr. officiating.  Visitation will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 at Brooks and White Funeral Home and other times at the home of Dottie and Jerry Wright, 1566 Egypt Road, Prospect Hill, NC 27314.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Watson, Carl Watson, Jerry Wright, Dale Perry, Ricky Smith, and Tommy Pruitt. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of The Brotherhood.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cooper Cemetery Fund, c/o Edwin Yarbrough, 1223 Ridgeville Road, Prospect Hill, NC 27314.
