The public is invited. Madison Fuller Roxboro Community School (RCS) will host the 2017 RCS Holiday Program on Monday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.

The program will consist of performances by students from the high school theatre class, dance classes, and the Glee Club. Skits, dancing, and singing will be performed. The art department plays a role in the program with their decorations.

The dancers have a total of five dances and it will be counted as their midterm exam grade.

Dance teacher Teresa Coleman, theater teacher Christie Canter, and Glee Club advisor Ernie Moore have helped the students prepare for the performances.

“It is the first time many of my students will perform on stage, which is very exciting for them and for me. I think this program is a great way to get into the holiday spirit,” said Coleman. “We get great feedback from the community and I think everyone leaves the program in a festive mood.”

The RCS Holiday Program is an annual event that has been running for eight years.

The students who are part of the program will also be performing on Dec. 6 in school, for the RCS students and staff.

The Glee Club and one of the skits will also be presented on Dec. 5, at the Daughters of the American Revolution Christmas Dinner.

The admission for the program is $5 and all funds raised will support the fine arts departments.
