Photo by Sara Coat es For three years, we were the underdogs of our journalism class. We worked hard to learn as much as we could, in hopes of someday transitioning from the underdogs to the top dogs.

We are excited and proud to announce that we have now accomplished our goal. This year, we are the top dogs. However, we are incredibly thankful that we don’t have to do it all on our own.

This Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to introduce and showcase our new, incredibly talented, Bullhorn reporters. From quickly learning the tricks of the trade to jumping in when they see we need an extra hand, these freshmen have been phenomenal from the moment they walked in the door of our journalism classroom.

They continue to surprise us each day as they take chances without hesitation and make us laugh in the midst of our most stressful moments. Without them, it would be impossible to get everything done.

As always, we are so grateful for the knowledge and opportunities, as well as the memories, this class has given to us over the years. But this year, we are especially grateful for the chance we have been given to pass our deep love of journalism on to such an amazing group of girls.

To the community, we would like to thank you for your dedication to our Bullhorn articles over the years.

We hope you enjoy getting to know these girls and reading their work as much as we have.

To our girls, thank you for being so wonderful. We truly hope you know how special you are.
