A music degree from Central College in Pella, Iowa prepared her for a career as a private piano teacher, church musician and certified educator. Currently, she can be found on the organ bench each Sunday at Long Memorial United Methodist Church, gardening, bicycling, or playing with her grandsons in Cary.
